DED ID Cards secure Hempstead House Hotel

02 March 2009

The Hotel, a traditional country house set in the heart of the Kentish countryside, has chosen DED to print all room key-cards and Leisure Club membership cards.

Offering an extensive bureau service, DED now take care of all the hotels' card printing requirements, including spa membership cards, spa day guest cards and leisure club locker access cards.

Hempstead House had moved away from keyed access following expansion of the hotel and the leisure club facilities available to it's guests, opting for the DED Mifare card system. The system was already in use within the Aquamanda Leisure Club and Spa. With one system now in use, the hotel has become unified and more secure.

Aquamanda Leisure Club manager, Mike Wood, said, "this system has made the customer journey with us from check-in to check-out, a simple, yet hugely effective protocol and offers us greater security provisions for the hotel. I believe customer service is only respected following consistency on high standards and that is exactly what I have received from DED.”

DED printed cards for the hotel and leisure club in full colour on both sides, with signature strips on the membership cards together with the member name and a unique barcode for increased security. Room key cards were also printed in full colour on both sides together with the hotel branding.

The lead time from initial contact to delivery of the first batch of cards was just 48 hours.
