Ahavas' College Training Course Receives Guild accreditation

06 March 2009

Ahava UK, leading specialist in Dead Sea mineral skin nourishment products and treatments, is proud to announce that the company’s college training course, has received Guild accreditation.

Ahava Pure Training, eligible for NVQ Level 2, or equivalent-level students, is a one-day theory and practical workshop, which provides a comprehensive guide for those learning specialist treatment techniques for professional Ahava spa treatments, and knowledge of the company’s products, ingredients, and treatments available.  During the day’s training, as well as conveying her in-depth knowledge of Dead Sea mineral skin care products and treatments, Ahavas' Training Consultant, Karen Wadman, provides background information and history on Ahava.

Upon completion, each student receives a certificate illustrating ‘The Guild Accreditation’, which provides eight Continual Professional Development (CPD) points.

Karen has extensive experience as a therapist, salon owner, and training consultant, and manages the Ahava Pure Training course at colleges around the country, as well as providing courses for fully-trained therapists, either at her own salon, Taylor Made Beauty in Buckingham, or Ahavas' Dead Sea Spa at the Kingfisher Golf & Country Club near Milton Keynes.  Also available from Ahava UK is a full-day training course for all salon staff, including receptionists, and office managers, run by Karen in-situ, at the therapists’ salon.  Ahava anticipates that these Ahava training modules too, will also receive Guild Accreditation.
