Visit Brüel & Kjær at AES Show

Visitors to this year’s Audio Engineering Society (AES) show in Munich can experience firsthand Brüel & Kjær’s latest range of electroacoustic tools.

The company’s technical specialist will be demonstrating its latest range of electro and room acoustic solutions, including the flexible Multi-field Microphone Type 4961 - a brand new transducer that provides accurate measurements in unpredictable sound fields. Also on display will be Brüel & Kjær’s latest sound level meters, to display the company’s room acoustics and environmental applications. Meters which will be on show include the one-channel 2250 meter, the ‘point-and-shoot’ 2240 sound level meter and DIRAC room acoustics software. Several applications suitable for electroactoustics will be demonstrated on Brüel & Kjær’s data acquisition system, PULSE, including the Time Selective Response (TSR) feature, which eliminates the need for expensive anechoic chamber rooms. The TSR method measures a time selective frequency response using the swept sine technique – a method which has the ability to reject noise and reflections - allowing electroacoustic devices to be evaluated in a normal reverberant environment. Brüel & Kjær’s sound and vibration specialists will be on hand throughout the three day show, running from 8th to 10th May, for visitors to discuss their measurement needs with and take home up-to-date information about the company’s microphones and distinctive range of other acoustic products.
