Priorclave Autoclaves at your service

26 June 2009

As world leaders in the specialist manufacturer of a wide and flexible range of Laboratory autoclaves Priorclave deliver a quality service to all customers at all levels.

By working closely with carefully selected distributors and agents, both in the UK and across the globe, Priorclave provide a high level of technical expertise at the time of specifying and purchasing your autoclave, ensuring the right equipment is purchased for the right job.  Priorclave’s technically skilled distributors have their full technical support, from the initial customer visit to assist in the selection of the correct model, to reliable and quality after sales care.

All products within the range are designed and manufactured at Priorclave’s London facility under an ISO9001:2000 quality regime.  They are CE marked to, and comply with, the European Pressure Equipment Directive (97/23/EC) and other relevant EU norms and standards.  All standard models are fitted with Priorclave’s highly versatile and flexible Tactrol® control system enabling all models to perform the most complex cycle types if required and when fitted with the appropriate options and accessories.

To avoid the possibility of cross-contamination, where different user groups share an autoclave, the entire range also features the revolutionary BioCote®  silver based , powder coating technology.  This technology has been proven in recent, independent, comparative tests to inhibit the growth of a wide range of micro-organisms by up to 95.8%.   It serves as an effective back-up to normal hygienic practise and remains effective for the lifetime of the autoclave.

At the lower end of the capacity scale the popular Compact 40, a 40 litre bench top unit, incorporates all of the features of its larger brothers while the Compact 60, a user friendly 60 litre unit, can be moved effortlessly around the laboratory.  Both require only a 13 amp plug to operate.
For more regular autoclave users there are larger capacity, top loading V100 and V150 units (with low loading heights to reduce back strain when loading baskets and containers) and front loading units from 100L – 200L.   A new addition to the range, the 320L, large diameter model, gives a bigger loading profile.

For higher workloads and capacities heavy-duty, rectangular section models are available from 230L - 700L and above. If required these are available with steam/water jackets and can be fitted with vertical, powered doors. In the unlikely event that the solution to a customer’s requirements cannot be met within the standard range, machines may be custom built, combining a variety of options and non-standard sizes to satisfy particular requirements. Versions of the front loading models are available in double door/pass through formats.

Following manufacture, Priorclave are also able to help with the delivery, positioning and installation of the autoclave and can offer site surveys, if requested, to assess requirements for the various services required, along with providing facilities for moving equipment into difficult-to-reach locations.
Priorclave’s flexible, after sales service and support in the UK ranges from expeditious breakdown repairs to a series of maintenance contracts up to and including all inclusive parts, labour and callout contracts.  Priorclave’s popular 2-year warranty and maintenance package can also be extended for additional years.

Thanks to Priorclave’s accreditation by UKAS as an autoclave calibration laboratory they also offer a number of optional support services to help the client get the best from their equipment such as load/ performance qualification testing and routine calibration.
