Improving products and holding prices

Wardray Premise Ltd have shown that they can improve their x-ray chair (XRC100) and maintain the 2018 price.
Wardray's x-ray chair is designed and manufactured in the UK. The latest product improvement is the change from hydraulic to a battery-operated electric lifting column. This removed the manual effort involved with adjusting the height of the chair seat. The chair comes with a handset /controller, a spare battery and a wall mountable battery charger. Now staff adjust the height of the chair by a simple press of a button, moving the seat between 500mm & 800mm height.The x-ray chair incorporates a slot under the seat to accommodates a 35cm x 35cm cassette and offers a clear uninterrupted Perspex back panel with no seams, giving good access to the seated patient.
For patients’ comfort the seat pad and the removable backrest are made from memory foam, the footrests are fully adjustable.
The chair is particularly beneficial for patients with scoliosis as they can be fully supported during the examination:
- the backrest is fitted with an accessory rail; this accommodates the head and body straps, and these slide up and down the rail into any position;
- arms rests are also fitted to the accessory rail, allowing them to be moved and locked into any position; and
- armrests can be removed from the chair to allow patient sideway transfer.
