Basic Fall Protection and Harness Pre–Use Inspection Training Course The aim of the course To provide the delegate with an appreciation of the safe use and inspection of safety harnesses,Agenda Health & Safety Module - Legislation – Three areas of responsibility -Employer - Employee - Manufacturer - Working at Height Regulations 2005 -PPE Regulations 1992 Construction, Health, Safety and Welfare Regulations 1996 - Falls and fall protection/The heirachy Fall arrest CE & EN European standards Practical usage - Inspection of safety harness - Primary inspection - Secondary inspections - What to look for - Fitting and wearing of harness Assessment test paper Course duration – approximately 4 hours.
