Safelink Race Team and Golmar success at IFSEC 2009

18 August 2009

Leading access control distributers Safelink, joined forces at IFSEC this year with European manufacturer Golmar, in a unique display complete with motorcycle and security products.

Golmar sponsored the Safelink Race Team, which led to the invitation to display one of their bikes on the stand at the event, a Suzuki SV650. Rider Adam Palfreman was also on the stand and had the opportunity to talk to stand visitors about his racing experiences as well as the extensive range of security products on display.

“We had a fantastic turnout on the stand. The motorbike was definitely an attraction. It was a real ice-breaker and made it easier for people to come along and have a chat," Adam said.

Golmar has been established in Spain since 1954 and was the first Spanish intercom manufacturer to achieve an ISO-9001/2000 certificate. Their range of products includes 2 wire audio systems and innovative digital video technology.

Safelink has two riders and four bikes running this season with BMCRC, the British Motorcycle Racing Club, in a number of classes. The next events are 22nd & 23rd August at Cadwell park, 5th & 6th September at Snetterton, 17th October at Thruxton and 31st October & 1st November at Lydden. Anybody watching at these events is welcome to come and visit the team in the paddock.

Safelink specialises in door entry and door access control products, distributing off-the-shelf or customised systems and products for most security needs. They supply from an extensive product range including accessories and parts for many access control and door entry kits.
