Hi-Tec ensure Komfort Workspace are well primed

Hi-ec Spray Ltd (HSL), were recently commissioned by Komfort Workspace Plc, to design, suply and install a new spray booth for priming timber.
Komfort Workspace PLC design and manufacture a sophisticated range of workspace products for the office, healthcare and education marketplaces. Every interior is unique and has a direct impact on individuals’ work environment and the business, with function, effectiveness and appearance high on the agenda. They maintain continuous investment in the latest manufacturing technology to underpin their position and reputation in the market. To this end they turned to Maidstone based, surface coatings specialists, Hi-Tec Spray to design, supply and commission a new spray booth system for the priming of timber frames, doors, panels and other associated timber products that are synonymous with Komfort quality and style. It is a dedicated system and is in addition to two existing spray plants at the facility.
The system comprises a 6m wide dry filter, spray booth split into two 3m wide booths, each 2.25m high and 1.2m deep. This affords greater flexibility and economy when employing either both simultaneously for large capacity projects or just one booth for priming small run parts.
In design, HSL successfully overcame significant difficulties when fitting the ductwork due to space limitation and existing equipment installations restricting the ducting route outside the building.
Filtered, forced air replacement is managed by two input units balanced with the extraction to provide a clean environment to produce a top quality finish.
