28 January 2010

Designed and manufactured in the UK, the Caresafe NCDTAK Disabled Toilet Alarm Kit is one of the UKs' biggest selling disabled toilet alarm systems.

To operate, a user simply pulls the cord of a ceiling pull unit to activate the remote sounder beacon typically placed in the corridor immediately outside the WC, a further secondary alarm will also be raised at the control panel which would be installed at a manned reception area.

An overwhelming number of these kits are currently installed in various nursing homes, shops, pubs, council offices, hospitals and leisure facilities and almost anywhere else offering washroom facilities to the public. Easy to install and simple to use, the NCDTAK comprises of 1 zone control unit, ceiling pull cord, overdoor light & sounder, remote rest point and WC self adhesive sticker.

The 12v system now includes a redesigned call controller, complete with battery back-up and in-board volt free relay, volume adjustable buzzer and braille text. The remote reset point also comes with an on-board reassurance sounder and LED. The call controller also features an on-board volt-free relay so if required you can add externally powered beacons, strobes or other ancillary devices. The on-board battery back-up facility provides a 24hr standby and 15 minutes alarm running time.

Unlike some other products on the market the Caresafe Disabled Toilet Alarm Kit is extendable with up to three additional series devices if required including ceiling pulls, over door lights and reset points. All this is attractively designed and is compliant with BS8300 to meet the needs of disabled people making it the perfect solution to any disabled toilet alarm requirements.
