Workplace System catalogue from MiniTec covers all bases

29 January 2010

The new catalogue from MiniTec is a bigger and more concise Workplace Systems catalogue covering all the components needed for complete work area furnishing for production, laboratory and test environments.

With over 112-pages, the catalogue more than doubles its predecessor, reflecting the substantial increase in MiniTecs' range of components and assemblies available for workstations, assembly lines, transfer stations and conveyor systems for manual and automated production lines, research laboratories, assembly areas, test equipment & inspection stations.

The MiniTec Workplace Systems catalogue guides the reader through the essentials of ergonomic workplace layout with 14 detailed sections including basic workstations, height adjustable tables, lighting and power supply, pneumatics, mounting devices and ESD accessories.

All of the components covered in the new catalogue are also featured within MiniTecs' online iCAD interactive design module - an autonomous interactive program which allows selection of individual components with downloadable 2D and 3D, CAD and image files for AutoCAD® and other leading CAD programs along with complete parts lists. The combination of the hard copy catalogue format and on-line CAD service ensures that MiniTecs' customers are able to specify and design complete workstation and workplace layouts quickly and efficiently using the method that best suits their needs. MiniTec also provides a complete design and assembly service if required.

MiniTecs' Workplace Systems product line is part of and may be freely mixed with the comprehensive range of machine building components and systems based around its innovative Profile System which includes a large selection of modular aluminium profiles that are assembled using the Powerlock fastening system and requires no special tools or machining other than cutting the profile to the required length – saving time and cost over other machine-building systems. The range includes ancillary components including positioners, sensors, safety fence parts, doors, wheels and guards to enable the cost effective design and fabrication of complete machines for production and test, materials handling systems, work stations, machine guards and automated manufacturing systems.

The new catalogue is available as a PDF download from the MiniTec website, or as a hard copy version by contacting MiniTec.
