Vulcascot launch latex free cable protectors

05 March 2010

Vulcascot have addressed the issue of allergic reactions due to exposure to natural rubber latex (NRL), with the launch of their new latex free cable protectors.

It is the proteins that are naturally present in the NRL that are responsible for the many types of allergies usually caused by direct skin contact or breathing in powder from items such as latex gloves.

Ever conscious of the safety requirements of NHS Trusts and private hospitals, Vulcascot, manufacturers of the Worlds largest range of flexible floor laid cable protectors has now cleverly modified the technical formulation of their products.

From the smallest fibre optic telecommunications cables to giant power lines, Vulcascot has a profile in stock to cover and protect them. There is even a huge profile that doubles as a traffic calmer as well as protecting across road cables. Vulcascot continues to innovate by adding new products for different applications. The company designs and produces the entire product range consisting of 33 different profiles in various lengths and hole sizes.
