Nimlok have strong presence at EcoBuild 2010

Nimlok celebrates their 40th anniversary this year of manufacturing and supplying exhibition stands to the exhibition industry.
As leaders in the exhibition industry, you will often find Nimloks' creative stands at the big shows. Nimlok not only supply the exhibition stand, but they are also involved from the start by creating the exhibition stand design in conjunction with the clients objectives for their event.EcoBuild is the biggest event in the world for sustainable design and construction and this year the build environment was bigger than ever with over 1000 exhibitors at the show and more than 100 conferences and seminar sessions being held. Exhibitors ranged from lab technicians, water treatment and distribution, solid waste treatments, air pollution control, sewage system and treatment and waste recycling and treatment to eco friendly consumer products.
Visitors to the show were a mixture of government policy makers, urban planners, manufacturers, designers and engineers looking for eco-friendly solutions to their product process and products. There were also retailers, chain stores and courier companies looking for eco-friendly packaging materials.
Nimlok supplied two of their clients with exhibition stands; HIS and Titon. Between the two stands, Nimlok supplied just under 70sqm of exhibition stand! In the case of Titon’s their objective was to re-enforce the Titon brand as a major player in the UK domestic ventilation industry, with the emphasis on energy efficient and innovative products.
They wanted strong use of the Titon logo and animation to be incorporated into a flat screen on the stand. They requested that the stand not have too much green colour or text. The final result was a contemporary white stand with the Titon logo very prominent and animation communicating their message electronically. This kept the overall look of the stand pure and clean; which resulted in the stand having a prominent presence in the busy trade show environment.
Last year, Nimlok achieved the ISO14001 environmental standard and also placed in the top twenty Sunday Times Best Green Company awards. These achievements were one of the deciding factors for the clients choosing Nimlok to supply their exhibition stand.
