Axess' Platform Lift installed as part of school redevelopment

Axess 4 All recently installed the A5000 Platform Lift at the Sir Henry Floyd Grammar School, Aylesbury.

The Sir Henry Floyd Grammar School in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, was opened by and named after Sir Henry Floyd himself in 1963. The high performaing school specialises in many subjects and recently underwent a major redevelopment.

As part of the redevelopment and in association with main contractors Wernicks Buildings, Axess 4 All supplied and fitted the Cibes Lifts' A5000 Wheelchair Platfrom Lift at the schools new GLover building. Axess 4 All are part of the Cibes Lift Group.

The A5000 Platform Lift was also fitted with a fire rated glazed door with a one-hour burn time, for which Axess All were the first company in the UK to supply and has proven extremely popular since.

TYhe lift was also fitted with high quality powder coated doors in the schools' colours so as to blend in with the surroundings and boasts locking facility to prevent unauthorised use.

The installation was completed in two days by the installation team ensuring the entire project went to plan with no problems. 

Having Wheelchair access in this building will be a major help to students, teachers, visitors and others that may have impaired mobility, making it easier to get around the building.
