40kVA UPS now listed on ETP List

24 August 2010

The Enhanced Capital Allowances (ECA) scheme approves Socomec UPS 40kVA Green Power UPS unit

On 1st August The ECA scheme from The Carbon Trust added the 40kVA Green Power Socomec UPS unit to the Energy Technology Product List (ETPL).

The 40kVA uninterruptible power supply unit now joins the larger Socomec UPS 100kVA, 120kVA and 200kVA UPS units from the same Green Power range. This additional smaller UPS now gives the user a much more varied range to choose from for uninterruptible power requirements, space and budget when considering which unit to opt for from the ETPL.

Purchasing an uninterruptible power supply unit from one promoted by The Carbon Trust’s ECA scheme, allows the end user to reclaim possible capital allowances towards the project costs (not just the UPS unit costs) in-line with the goverment’s energy efficiency policy. Any refundable costs need to be claimed within the first year of purchase and the benefits can be as much as 100% of the original captial allowance paid, which greatly reduces the overal cost to the client in the short and long run.

Background

efficient for their class with their 12% more active power, true-online double conversion technology and reduced footprint. The Masterys units are designed especially for IT and Mission Critical applications, such as data centres, telecommunications and IT Networking.
