Tough Furniture selects strong locks for exacting users

The company approached Camlock Systems when its existing lock suppliers were unable to meet its requirements for a new product range. Camlock designed a locking system to meet the precise specifications that Tough Furniture had for the new additions and is now being considered to supply other locks and fittings.Tough Furniture has found that the new locking system manufactured by Camlock saves significant production time and gives the company greater manufacturing flexibility. One of several benefits is housings with interchangeable mechanisms so an item of furniture can be supplied easily with either key operated locks or tamper proof closures, according to the customers' requirements.
Customers of Tough Furniture include special schools, psychiatric & mental hospitals, secure units, drug & alcohol rehabilitation centres and other establishments housing those who exhibit challenging behaviour. A very wide range of furniture is available, extending to TV & computer cabinets and custom-made items, all of which is highly durable and complies with stringent safety standards.
