Monowa achieve ISO 14001

Operable wall specialists Monowa Ltd, have achieved ISO 14001 environmental management accreditation.
Monowas Head office and the Maccelsfield manufactuturing facility have now secured the recognised standard for environmental management. ISO 14001, which is awarded to companies that implement an effective environmental management system (EMS), provides a framework that allows businesses to control and reduce their impact on the environment. Monowa, which committed to the standard 3 years ago, said cost savings have already been made through energy reduction initiatives and waste minimisation schemes.
