Over 1000 young adults starting out on their professional medical career now have a greater understanding of what might be expected from them thanks to another successful series of practical conferences from The Workshop.
Medsim and Vetsim both give young delegates valuable insights into their considered career and in order to give them the right image they are provided with authentic scrubwear from Grahame Gardner Ltd.The Conferences aim to give young adults considering a career in either the Medical or Veterinary profession a practical demonstration into the kind of tasks they will be engaged in. During the 3 day course delegates experience a simulated medical emergency, for example a Road Traffic Accident. When called to the scene delegates are expected to deal with the situation in a professional way.
The Workshop make every effort to make sure that the emergency is as realistic as possible, with the inclusion of fake blood, therefore scrubs are both an essential part of the experience and also very important to protect delegates own clothes.
