What price Robbie Williams to leave Take That next year?

What are the odds on there being a General Election in 2011? And perhaps more importantly, what will the colour of the Queen's hat be at the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton?

Leeds design and marketing agency Outsmart, have sent out some thought-provoking Christmas cards to clients, contacts and suppliers this year. Inside the card which states ‘Bet you have a great 2011.’ is an accumulator bet which, if all the bets come off could see the recipients winning big – and keeping the proceeds for themselves.

Managing Partner Andy Taylor explains ‘We’ve done a lot of work with William Hill this year, and thought it would be fun to place a bet on behalf of our contacts, on some of next year’s big events, and have a punt on some interesting things that we think could happen. And then we thought, if we put the bets on as accumulators, what would be the odds?’

The answer is – long – but potentially leading to some spectacular payouts. Collectively, if the bets come off, the bookies will be stumping up an incredible £614,782 to the clients, suppliers and friends of Outsmart. Creative Partner Paul Harker continues ‘We tailored the bets to individuals as much as possible. The biggest potential payout is a whopping £17,952 - but it does rely on Sunderland winning the FA Cup as one of the bets.’

Other bets include Cheryl Cole to have a number one hit single, Fabio Capello leading England to qualification for the European Championships and Andy Murray winning Wimbledon.

‘The smallest payout on any of the accumulators is £704’ says Taylor, ‘One thing’s certain, if the bets come off we’ll be the most popular marketing business in the world!’

but it could be worth a fortune in 2011! So the advice is keep your betting slip safe - it might be a long shot –
