Maximising efficiency & value for money

07 February 2011

With financial challenges facing the NHS, Aid Call understand the need to offer more cost effective, flexible, simple and innovative solutions to ensure we can make every penny of your budget go further.

Aid Call’s latest Touchsafe® wireless nurse call can save you money whilst being quick and easy to install.  Wireless / radio systems give all the functionality of a hard wired system but with the added benefit of complete flexibility.

The ‘wire free’ nature of the system allows the call points to be located in any location with only the minimum of installation, providing you with complete flexibility in how it is used.

A wireless nurse call system does not require large amounts of cable or disruptive installation works, and this ensures a quick and easy deployment, removing the need to change staff schedules or to move patients from their wards.

Because it is radio based, it is infinitely changeable and expandable, helping you and your staff to deal quickly with the ever changing clinical priorities and demands.

Working closely with estate departments and nursing staff, Aid Call have gone back to basics to address the challenges facing today’s hospital environment and created the most reliable, efficient and safe wireless system available.

Our unique Touchsafe® wireless nurse call combines safety critical features and leading edge, innovative technologies. This continuous commitment has seen us lead the way in the use of the most advanced two-way, Class 1 safety critical radio technologies.  All touchable elements of the system are embedded with anti-microbial additives to help combat the spread of infection.

The centrally placed Touchsafe® CP5000 display panel has a full alpha-numeric screen that shows ward and bed location, as well as attending nurse’s identification with optional floor plans/map locations on its high visibility display, whilst permanently logging all information safely for record and audit purposes.

The ATX5000 features a LCD screen, which displays a ‘Next Call Waiting’ message, enabling staff to access their next call from the current patient’s room, without needing to revisit the main display panel - or carry expensive pocket pagers. This enables staff to use their time more effectively, improving staff response times, reducing unnecessary journeys and improving the overall quality of care offered to patients.

All of our products are designed by a dedicated in house research and development team.  We firmly believe that through our innovative approach, high quality and service standards, Aid Call will provide you with the best wireless nurse call solution for your needs.
