New power pruner from Echo

12 February 2008

ECHO have released a new power pruner, the PPT-265ES, an ideal choice for tree surgeons and landscapers. The telescopic shaft of the PPT-265ES has an easy-adjustment knob which allows the user to extend it to 3.9m, giving up to 5.75m length overhead.

The new PPT-265ES can be used for clearing brush, sculpting and thinning, producing clean precise cuts.  A sturdy fibreglass housing have made this power pruner strong, but with an overall weight of just 8.4kg, the new PPT-265ES is easy to manoeuvre to ensure precise operation.  A safety shut-off switch, easy-grip handle and trigger and comfortable safety harness helping to support the pruner, together with ECHO’s anti-vibration control measures, have made the PPT-265S very user-friendly for the professional landscaper.

The ECHO 25.4cc air-cooled, two-stroke engine powers the 30cm self-lubricating cutter blade to a chain speed of 610m/min, making the PPT-265ES capable of cutting through branches easily and efficiently.  The PPT-265ES is fitted with the ECHO Easy Start System, this means that the operator requires greatly reduced pulling power required on the starter compared to other power pruners, and there is no kick-back effect in cranking.

The PPT-265ES power pruner is available from all ECHO authorised dealers, RRP £459.00+ Vat.
