Carlton launches anniversary machine

The Carlton Group is celebrating 60 years in business in 2008. As part of the year long celebrations, they have launched a new version of their popular Ultrablend machine.
The new Ultrablend (CC2337) features a sophisticated silver grey case, as well as new clearer controls, which are truly intuitive, making hair removal easier than ever before.
Like its predecessor, the new look Ultrablend offers the benefits of two effective hair removal methods, RF Diathermy and DC Galvanism, either individually or combined, to give effective results on different types and stages of hair growth. The new machine also offers the benefit of timed RF Diathermy when the machine is used with a footswitch and a plain needle holder. Other new features include a pre warm button which facilitates a short burst of RF Diathermy to warm the area prior to the treatment.
Further client comfort focused features include preparation by Anaphoresis, the flow of negatively charged ions to the electrode, readying the follicle for ease of insertion. The treatment is concluded with Cataphoresis to soothe the nerve endings and reduce erythema. Cataphoresis is the flow of positively charged ions to the electrode. The choice of programmes allows therapists to select the most suitable treatment for their client.
The Ultrablend unit is available with either a plain needle holder with a single footswitch or a switched needle holder, for ease of use of the blend system.
