New Radisson Hotel ‘sparkling’ with Ultra Floor elegance

BU Interiors have completed a 4 star hotel using the renowned sub-floor preparation products from Ultra Floor.
The new Radisson Edwardian Guildford hotel has recently opened to the public. It’s a spectacular landmark on Surrey’s most celebrated street and visitors are amazed by its stunning interiors. BU Interiors contributed to the hotel’s chic look by fitting a selection of vinyls and carpets throughout. Prior to this they prepared the substrates using Ultra Floor Level IT one HDB, Level IT two and Prime IT AR.Smoothing compound, Level IT one HDB was used to build depth and provide a level surface. The product can be laid from 3mm to 50mm in one application. It was then overlaid with Level IT two for that super level and smooth finish.
Ultra Floor Prime IT AR was used in addition to the two compounds to stabilise and seal the porous sub-floor, enhancing the adhesion of the cementitious under-layments.

Tiles were also laid in the foyer and toilets by another contractor using Ultra Tile adhesives and grouts.”
Ultra Tile is the sister brand of Ultra Floor, a comprehensive range of wall and floor tile adhesives, coloured grouts and ancillaries including silicone sealants. Both brands are manufactured by the Instarmac Group plc.
