Complete service solution to comply with tough legislation

11 April 2008

Loadmac has launched a comprehensive maintenance package to directly address the threat of financial penalty and even 7 years imprisonment for company directors and fleet managers who ignore current legislation.

Loadmac, the UKs' fastest growing truck-mounted  forklift and multi-directional forklift business, has designed a planned maintenance package, which is based around a number of critical factors. The end result is a product, which offers the customer optimum service levels and machine performance, maximum safety, cost efficiency and total compliance with legislation.

The factors considered by Loadmac for each customers' service evaluation are the load spectrum, ie, the amount of lifting and hours in service (as metered to comply with FEM regulations), the environment the machine is working in, and the "Competent" Persons Assessment), which is required under regulations 5 and 6 of PUWER (Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998). Loadmac carefully evaluates each of these factors to design a maintenance schedule, which will deliver ultimate peace of mind.

Based in Rugby, Loadmacs' "all brand" service package also fully supports the companys' exclusive own range including multi-directional and truck-mounted equipment. Loadmacs' range of truck-mounted forklifts has been designed specially for the UK market with emphasis on maximising payload and versatility in UK based applications.

The Loadmac is shorter and considerably lighter than most competing models - but has the same - and usually better lift capacity and stability, with models capable of lifting and manoeuvring loads from 1500kg to 3000kg.
