Speedy Ultra Floor installation keeps downtime to a minimum at Apple stores

Leading flooring company, Northern Flooring, have been using Ultra Floor products on a number of projects at Apple stores across the UK.
The Merseyside based contractor has carried out repairs at several stores, including sub floor preparation and floor covering installation, in branches located in Bristol, Brighton and London to name but a few.Ultra Floor Prime IT AR, Level IT two and Level IT super30 were used to lay 600 x 600mm Noraplan rubber tiles at selected stores covering a minimum area of 270m².
Ultra Floor Prime IT AR is an acrylic polymer emulsion primer suited for use over porous substrates. It prepares the surface, enhancing adhesion and sealing it. This dramatically improves the bond strength of cement based levelling compounds to the surface, enhancing durability. Prime IT AR is easy to use and safe to apply, and boasts excellent surface penetration and a fast drying time. It is used throughout the stores prior to levelling.
Level IT two is applied by trowel to the substrate. This self levelling latex compound combines excellent flow characteristics with strong adhesion properties. The product’s formulation is free from ammonia, creating a very low odour material suitable for confined areas as well as open. The leveller is ready to receive foot traffic after 2.5 hours.
For areas where an even quicker turnaround was required, Northern Flooring used Level IT super30, a two part rapid set levelling compound. It allows for foot traffic after only 30 minutes and is ready to receive a decorative floor covering after just 3 hours. The product is designed to compensate for shrinkage and is polymer modified, both adding to its high performance and compatibility.
Both levellers offer a silky smooth flat finish with no rub down required.
