23 April 2012

Couture uniform design company Fashionizer were last night presented with an award at The Professional Clothing Awards 2012.

Recognising Fashionizer’s commitment to producing high quality uniforms that positively reflect the positioning and brand identity of their clients, they were victorious in the category  ‘Best Managed Boutique Contract’ following their work with St Pancras Renaissance hotel in London.

Presented by top London tailors ‘Cad and the Dandy’ and taking place at Ricoh Arena in Coventry, the ceremony was attended by anyone worth their salt in the uniform design industry.

The Awards celebrated cutting edge design; innovation and ingenuity throughout the uniform supply chain from corporate uniforms to safety garments and personal protective equipment (PPE) and is the only event in the UK solely dedicated to the professional clothing industry.

The 120 international entries were judged by professionals from across fashion, manufacturing and research, including Dr. Julie King, Head of the School of Fashion and Textiles, De Montfort University; and the Sourcing and Technical Director of lifestyle brand Joules clothing.

Winning the ‘Best Managed Boutique’ award secures Fashionizer’s reputation as the premier choice for high end, luxury uniform design. When asked why Fashionizer won, the judges for the awards said through ‘design expertise they have incorporated the heritage of one of London’s most recognized landmarks with one of its most prestigious hotels.’

Managing Director of Fashionizer, Debbie Leon said:

Fashionizer is delighted to be winning a professional clothing award for the second time. Our partnership with the St Pancras Renaissance continues to thrive. We were honoured to be a creative part of the rebirth of this very fine hotel, and to have created uniforms that we hope will symbolise the identity of the St Pancras Renaissance Hotel for many years to come.”

The renaissance branches of the Marriot are reserved for only the most iconic of their hotels, and their attention to detail is impressive.

Debbie went on to say:
Expectations of an upmarket experience is standard for this brand. I believe that’s the reason they came to Fashionizer for their uniforms, because we are unique in our ability to combine innovative design, quality, and functionality with timely delivery, ensuring staff look as good as their luxury surroundings.’
