About us

Established in 1963, Wallace School of Transport has an outstanding reputation for helping students achieve consistently positive results on their driving courses. Based in London, our company has assisted 1000’s students over the years to gain valuable vocational qualifications.

Wallace School of Transport focus providing our HGV training & LGV Licence services at  over 15 locations including Croydon, Dartford, Enfield, Luton, Park Royal, Slough, Watford and Wembley.

We are able to offer contract services and account facilities for Corporate Clients and for Private Individuals we can arrange bookings through card payment and offer a finance option to spread the cost of training, with easy payments arranged over a year or more.

Our company is approved and qualified by multiple associations such as the NRI & NVDIR - National Vocational Driving Instructors Register and the RTITB (formerly Road Transport Industry Training Board).  We ensure that all courses available to students meet the standards laid down by these associations, and we receive annual inspection visits from accrediting bodies to ensure that we consistently meet their high standards and requirements.

I have passed my Driving test today out of the Enfield depot. I just wanted to write to you to commend my instructor David Smith. At first was quite nervous, as soon as I met David on the first day Thursday morning my nerves instantly went as he is a very relaxing person to be around. After explaining the reversing 3a I had it instantly. During my time with David he had pointed out multiple things I had done wrong along the way and explained in depth as to why it was wrong and how to correct this and this worked wonders. By the end of my 4th day I had felt very competent on driving this vehicle. I’m not one to usually leave a good review but I had to on this occasion. I’m sure you are aware anyway but David is a real credit to your company and I wish him all the best and his future trainees.Please don’t let this go unnoticed as he really does deserve the recognition.

Wallace School of Transport

Been training with Wallace over the last few weeks going from Class 2 to Class 1 (old school 😁) C+E. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience or instructor. Jamie at Slough was patient beyond patient, especially when i was trying to get into reversing mode 🤦🏻‍♂️ nothing was too much trouble. I have road experience but Class 1 is another animal. I messed up my test first time but cracked on and passed second time two weeks later. Looking forward to doing some additional training and a new chapter on the road.
