All property owners are now legally obliged to ensure that all heating, air conditioning and ventilation equipment is commissioned in accordance with the design specifications under Part L of the Building Regulations.
It is therefore the statutory duty of the building owner or agent to ensure complete compliance with the relevant requirements and ensure that there is sufficient time dedicated to the commissioning phase throughout the project.
