P.J. Hare Limited is a market leader in the manufacture of hydraulic production presses from 1-400tons capacity. The company has produced more than 17,000 presses since 1947 exploiting the inherent versatility of hydraulic power. Today, Hare designers combine this feature with sophisticated electro-hydraulic equipment and PLC control to provide a standard of productivity, reliability and safety not available from the traditional crank press. Hare's latest HPD range of presses with digital control will adjust all parameters in seconds when the operator selects a new tool on the touch screen. A large part of Hare's business is supplying fully integrated press and tooling solutions. Hare's Tooling division specialises in zero defect assembly operations. The precise load control of a hydraulic press and the availability of modern measuring and sensing devices enable Hare Tooling to provide cost effective solutions to difficult problems.
