Temperature testing at altitudes up to 100,000 feet.
ESPEC can provide custom-built chambers for simultaneous testing of temperature and low-pressure altitude conditions. Two common applications are:
Testing of avionics or other aerospace equipment to simulate actual conditions it might experience.
Simulation of high-altitude conditions like might be found in mountainous regions.

Espec, represented in the UK by Unitemp, are pleased to announce the release of the new Refrigerant R-473A for their environmental test chambers. This new refrigerant can be ordered as an option to replace R23 and R-508A. R-473A is an environmentally friendly low GWP refrigerant that has cleared regulations globally. Its characteristics make it possible to reduce both power consumption and the amount of refrigerant required.
