Witt Switch-Over Unit Provides Continuous Gas Supply

Manufacturing companies using large volumes of technical gases on continuous supply will be able to easily switch between gas mixtures.
Automatic Switchover Units from Witt, the gas safety, control, mixing and analysis equipment supplier, ensure that manufacturers are able to switch between two gas mixers when connected to individual gas cylinders or bundles (also called MCP’s - manifolded cylinder pallets) by launching new switch over unit.
Breaks in gas supply can lead to higher production costs through reduced quality and higher downtimes; Witt Switchover Units allow manufacturers to automatically switch from one gas mixer to another without a break in the supply, either in the case of a mixer malfunction or when the supply is getting low. Each unit is programmed and adjusted to meet each customer’s specific requirements including the integration of a chart recorder, gas analyser and alarm systems to warn the operator when to renew cylinders.
When using a combination of gas mixers, Witt recommend that users install an automatic switch over unit to maintain a continuous supply.
