Totally on the wall: new fridges from Precision

03 July 2009

Precision refrigeration has introduced new refrigerated wall cabinets that allow caterers to increase their refrigerated storage without taking up extra floor space in the kitchen.

The new cabinets are available in one-, two- and three-door versions, with options including solid or glass doors, pass-through models and remote or integral refrigeration systems. They are designed to accommodate 1x1 gastronorm containers.

"Our wall fridges will be a major benefit in any commercial kitchen where floor space is limited," says Jeremy Hall, sales director of Precision Refrigeration.

The flexibility of the cabinets' design means they are suited for a variety of applications. For example, the pass through models can be sited above a restaurants' servery area, to store cold orders. Kitchen staff can load them as they are prepared and waiting staff can access them easily when it's time to serve them.

The cabinets operate at temperatures from 1 to 4C. Depending on the number of doors, they measure between 1025 and 2270mm wide and are 700mm high and 500mm deep. Single-door units have a capacity of 150 litres, the two-door models offer 300 litres and the three-door 450 litres. The new wall cabinets are supplied with a wall fixing kit and Precision offers an installation service.
