Fire Rated Column Casings from Jtech Services

Jtech Services have recently supplied and installed their Fire Rated Column Casing system to an under-croft car parking project in West Byfleet.
A detailed pre-manufacture measure was undertaken so that installation was straightforward and completed within the time frame required. Waste was also kept to a minimum as specific lengths were supplied for each area, allowing for the thickness of tarmac that was to be laid before installation, so very little onsite cutting was required. The simple design process called for basic information including the steelwork dimensions, the weight of the steelwork, the height, the finish and what rating was required, 30mins, 60mins or 120mins.
The design of the column casings means that they are straightforward to install, often taking no more than about 10-15 mins, and as they are pre-finished that means that no further work is required other than to peel back the protective layer once the project is ready for handover.
