Bushboard Washrooms supply Aberavon Aqua Splash.

Neath Port Talbot Council came back to Bushboard Washrooms to help with their new leisure washroom refurbishment at Aberavon Aqua Splash.
The Aberavon Aqua Splash is a popular attraction along the Aberavon Promenade in Port Talbot, South Wales. Over the last 2 years, the site has been re-designed by Neath Port Talbot Council to feature a brand new Splash Pad with 30 water features. This update meant that the council were also looking for new washrooms to upgrade their leisure facilities for their customers.The Architectural Officer on the refurbishment, Wayne G Hopkins, chose Bushboard as the council uses our products a lot for their washroom projects. Our Quadro toilet cubicle was selected for the leisure washroom facilities. Featuring a distinctive quadrant foot and headrail detail which makes this a highly robust toilet cubicle. It was for this reason Wayne deemed it the most suitable system for the works undertaken. Opting for SGL material means this washroom is built to last.
We supplied our Ready Plumbed Duct Panels meaning that our Sanceram sanitaryware and brassware was pre-fitted to a rigid aluminium frame prior to delivery. The washroom vanity units were also supplied Ready Plumbed which meant only the final touches and connections needed to be completed on site. The carpenter who installed the pre-plumbed washroom system “found it advantageous from a time and assembly perspective”. These units were designed to keep on-site labour to a minimum saving both time and money.
The colours were chosen in blues across the washroom design to compliment the nature of the facilities. Air Force Blue being the main colour and the vanity tops in Pastel Blue for a subtle contrast. Overall, Wayne found the design and order process smooth for the project and commented that he received a “first rate” service. “The toilets are yet to be seen by the public but initial comments have been encouraging!”
