Metrix introduce Compact High Definition MPEG-4 meters

Metrix Electronics announces Seframs' new High Definition TV signal analysers, which feature all standard and high definition TV installer measurements.
The three new models in the S-780X series cover comprehensive measurements of MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 digital satellite (DVB-S + DVB-S2, QPSK/8PSK), terrestrial (DVB-T, COFDM) and cable (DVB-C, QAM) signals.All models feature a 4.3-inch wide-screen TFT to show free-to-air digital TV pictures, spectrums and detailed measurements. Users can add selected signals to the Measurement Map to record power, C/N, BER and MER. CheckSat with NIT simplifies satellite identification and dish alignment. The level measurement screen simultaneously displays the associated spectrum. The terrestrial Impulse Response mode checks for echo errors.
All units have an ultra-fast spectrum, plus Constellation. Measurements can be saved to a USB memory stick for transfer to a PC. General features include rugged compact housing, more than 2-hour battery life and a weight of just 1.5kg.
