Bespoke Water Tanks
Here at Precolor Tank Division, we specialise in providing GRP (Glass-Reinforced Plastic) storage tanks. In addition to our standard range of tanks, our experience has led us to producing bespoke water tanks. Using GRP, we can provide our customers with a complete service to create a bespoke water tank from your specifications, from design, mould making to manufacture and installation.
Otherwise known as fibre glass, GRP is an extremely strong and robust material. However, it also has the added benefit of being lightweight. In addition to creating bespoke GRP water tanks, we can also use the GRP to make drip trays, baffle plates, weir plates, centres plates and access covers.
Drip trays work by storing overspill temporarily, baffle plates contain and control the flow of liquid, weir plates create a barrier across water in a ‘V’ shape, and centre plates provide a similar function. Access covers are removable plates that cover an opening, so that it can be taken off so that someone can carry out maintenance or other work. Additionally, trolley tanks can be moulded for use as mobile car washing, offering a temporary portable solution to water storage.
