Most premises have areas that require extra security, such as IT suites, cash rooms and offices. New from Challenger’s Fortessa range is a biometric fingerprint lock suiting a variety of commercial applications.
The Fortessa fingerprint lock is easy to install and battery operated. It can store up to 100 fingerprints of authorised users, giving both visual and audio confirmation of activation.
For added ease of use, the lock has a mechanical manager key, allowing authorised personnel to override the lock if necessary. There is also an individual finger print removal facility, eliminating the need to re-programme the entire memory.
The Fortessa FTFL1L is suitable for left-handed doors, with the FTFL1R designed for right-handed doors. All models come as standard with a low battery warning and an external PP3 low battery override. Security specialist Challenger has expert staff at hand to offer customers advice on security devices.
