Introducing Our MLB Eco’s: The Cheaper, Eco-Friendly Solution To Waste Management

The sustainability movement is huge right now.
To a lot of people, it feels like we’re running out of time.Running out of time to do what we can to improve the troubled climate we’re in. We don’t want to cause any scares, but if you go on Google and look into this, you’ll be overwhelmed with information about climate change.
And this information is brought to you by some leading organisations, like WWF, Environmental Defense Fund and United Nations.
Chances are, you’re probably well aware of the environmental challenges we’re collectively facing.
We can make a difference. We are making a difference.
It’s always encouraged that we do more. At Wybone, we’re constantly revising our methods and processes to reduce our impact on the environment.
We took a serious look at this some time ago. It was time to redefine one of our most popular products: our standard MLB Metal Litter Bins.
We came together and identified ways of amending the manufacturing process for these metal bins to lower their carbon footprint by producing an ecologically friendly unit.
We’ve been able to make the following improvements:
100% reduction in welding
50% reduction in energy consumption
56% reduction in paint consumption
20% reduction in oven curing temperatures
36% in transport reduction
28.5% reduction in raw materials consumed
22% reduction in steel
25% recycled steel used in its manufacturing
These savings do not come at the expense of functionality. Our metal Eco range still comes with a generous capacity, a 1-year parts and labour guarantee and a 10-year anti-perforation warranty. We also commit to provide spare parts, if required, for the lifeline of the unit.
The best way to describe our MLB Eco Range is that they’re more ecologically friendly with the same capacity.
And if any of our units become unserviceable, we will collect and recycle them, giving a true cradle-to-grave closed-loop recycle service.
