Who Braved Tulleys Farm Shoktoberfest - 2013

11 November 2013

Office Manager Charlotte Kemp attended the Award Winning Tulleys Farm Shocktoberfest 2013 which features a wide range of dark and spooky mazes, live actors to give you that extra scare factor and a haunting tractor ride through the dark woods.

This year Tulleys Farm truly exceeded all expectations with a variety of new mazes, live entertainment and hilarious street actors, but they were definitely NOT for the faint hearted, pushing your senses to the limits!  There was a wide range of gorgeous food on offer including an aromatic hog roast.

The event as usual, was well organised and efficiently run, climaxing with a bang on its final night celebrating with magnificent fireworks.

Charlotte comments ‘we all had a great time, and most of us lost our voices from screaming’

It was clear that a huge amount of planning had been undertaken as visitor safety was a priority. Two Way Radio Communications systems were supplied by Wall to Wall Radio Communications for the 10th year ensuring the staff at this annual event had complete radio coverage in all areas.

Functionality, clear and concise audio quality and ease of use was the remit for the radio system. Sam Cohen, MD of Sutton, Surrey based, Wall to a Wall Radio Communications Ltd recommended an upgraded digital system using Hytera base stations and PD785 keypad hand portable units with a display read out for the management team whilst the 120 + seasonal staff used a Hytera PD705 secured with a belt clip or harness.
A variety of earpieces and ear defenders were introduced with all staff members trained by our hire fleet team in the use of equipment and radio protocol.
