FOR PETS IN NEED OF VETERINARY FURNITURE

06 December 2010

David Bailey Furniture Systems has been supplying fitted veterinary furniture to the UK’s leading animal charity, PDSA, for the past seven years.

So far, 18 PDSA practices have been fitted with the veterinary surgery furniture. The most recent centres to get the David Bailey treatment are Basildon, New Cross, Eynsham Drive, Brighton, Harrow Thamesmead, Gillingham, and Southend-on-Sea.

The fitted veterinary furniture consisted of postformed worktops, base and wall storage units with and without doors, and floor-standing units with drawers. The PDSA practices opted for a neutral colour scheme selecting white worktops, grey and white storage units and large ‘D’ handles in blue or white.

Trevor Gillman, Managing Director of David Bailey, said: “We are proud to be supporters of PDSA and are delighted to be a chosen supplier of veterinary furniture for the animal charity. Our veterinary profile is ever growing as we provide low cost veterinary furniture and can cater to any budget. Our Healthline range offers robust storage units and easy-clean worktops and shelving, ideal for maintaining a clean and hygienic working environment.”

PDSA provides free treatment and advice to sick and injured pets up and down the country. This year, over 2.2 million free treatments will be provided to sick and injured pets belonging to people in need, with more than 360,000 animals needing preventative treatments. Founded in a dark cellar in London, 1917, the charity is funded entirely by the public and volunteers.
