We strive for the highest safety standards, not only do our clients expect this, but so too do our employees who fully embrace our safety culture and who are the most important factor in how we maintain and develop health and safety throughout the business. We operate a cycle of continuous improvement, adapting our policies and procedures and adopting ‘best practice’ techniques; the key to effective health and safety management.
We have a dedicated Health and Safety Manager who works with our engineers/operatives to consider all aspects of health and safety when engaging in major projects or packages of works. Once a Scope of Works or specification has been agreed with the client, a comprehensive and robust Risk Assessment and Method Statement (RAMS Pack) will be produced in order to identify and control all hazards to ‘As Low as is Reasonably Practicable (ALARP) and ratified by all parties involved. All employees are encouraged to be pro-active in minimising risk, within the workplace.

Over the years, our company has quickly become the UK’s leading supplier in the world of steel fabrication. We undertake contracts of all sizes and purposes, including pipework, staircases, hand railing, tanks and conveyors. Our safety manager, contracts manager, site supervisors and employees take health and safety very seriously and carry a multitude of qualifications, some of which include NEBOSH General & Environmental Certification, IOSH Managing Safely, IOSH Working Safely, Confined Space, Asbestos Awareness, FLT Telehandler, Working at Height and more.

Here at ARC Fabrications, our staff are fully trained in confined space, forklifts, cherry pickers, manual handling, lifting and rigging, risk assessments and method statements and first aid. We have carried out numerous successful projects over the years and cater primarily to the food and road surface industries. Some of the recent projects we have carried out include clarifier setting tanks fabricated from 10mm mild steel, flash drum pressure vessels fabricated from 10mm and 12mm mild steel boiler plates, slaker drums fabricated from 20mm 4003 grade stainless steel and more.
