Every August carries a melancholic languishing as summer winds down, making us nostalgic and reflective. In some ways, we have lived through a year of Augusts, indulging our memories day after day, both bitter and sweet. In her debut solo show “August and Other Stories ” German-born Canadian artist Jeanine Brito presents 11 works that at once indulge and undo her own August memories.
