Dymet Alloys produces tungsten carbide material binder grades tailored to meet the demands for wear resistant and durable press tooling for a wide range of manufacturing and engineering sectors.

We manufacture a wide range of bespoke press tooling components, including high cobalt heading dies inserts, piercing dies, deep drawing dies, extrusion dies, stamping tools and punches. Individual tungsten carbide parts can be supplied either as an as-sintered pre-form, or as a finished ground component to meet a customer’s specific requirements.

About us

Since 1952, Dymet Alloys have been manufacturing tungsten carbide hard metal products at our purpose built premises in Hampshire.

Our products are heavily used in engineering and industries from petro-chemical to motorsport. We are able to create products in both the as-sintered and finished ground condition.

Tugsten Products

Dymet supply a wide range of centreless ground rod and cut to length rod, discs, and shaped electrode components finish ground in-house to high standards for use in the specialist lamp, electronics and resistance welding industries. Dymet Tungsten products include tungsten for anode, cathode and glass, lathanated, pure, non-sag, discs, pins and shaped electrodes.
