The new Nautilus PTZ camera was designed from concept to provide trouble free operation in extreme environments. This reliable performance is in large part down to using a unique brushless DC motor digital servo which allows each axis to be driven directly and smoothly without belts or gears, while providing an extremely high level of repeatable positional accuracy and wide dynamic range. This allows the camera to attain military performance within a commercial cost, with a very long life in the field resulting in low ownership cost. The platform enables a wide range of analogue and IP camera modules to be accommodated with up to 30x optical zoom. As well as visible light cameras a range of thermal cameras is available.
