Reid Lifting is a leading designer and manufacturer of innovative, lightweight, portable, aluminium lifting systems providing safe lifting solutions across a range of environments from corrosive waste water treatment sites, civil engineering, manufacturing processes, oil & gas, offshore applications through to the world’s leading museums and other clean environments.

Our lightweight, portable lifting equipment provides a high return on investment compared to permanent installations and expensive alternatives whilst also reducing injury in the workplace. One Porta-Davit for example, can typically replace 10 or more fixed steel davits, providing an environmental as well as economic benefit; while our Porta-Gantry system can replace multiple ugly permanent steel gantry systems and avoid expensive planning permission and ongoing testing for such structures and improving the landscape.

The lightweight nature of our equipment means that it can also be used in applications not previously thought of, particularly confined space and work at height environments and those tight places where millimetres matter.
