About us

S I Sealy & Associates Limited is a specialist building services engineering design consultancy formed in 1949.  As well as providing MEP engineering design, since 2006 we have provided in-house building & energy modelling and sustainability services. In 2022, we rebranded our sustainability division as Net Zero UK to promote our decarbonisation services to a wider audience, helping clients achieve net zero carbon in operation (NZCiO). 



S I Sealy works across all sectors, including Housing, Healthcare, Education, Commercial, Retail, Heritage, Blue Light and Modern Methods of Construction on projects of all sizes, from a few thousand pounds up to £100m+. The group has a projected turnover for the current year of £2.4m, achieved whilst delivering circa £200m of projects annually.

We are one of the largest specialist building services engineering design consultancies in the North of England, with 37 staff members and over 30 engineers, designers and technicians working across the group.



As an owner-managed business, we are focused on delivering high-quality, low-carbon designs on time and on budget.  Our quality approach is accredited to ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO45001, and we were the first UK building services consultancy to achieve accreditation to ISO 19650. We are a silver member of Constructionline, accredited to Cyber Essentials, Company Affiliate Members of IHEEM, members of the Association for Consultancy & Engineering and Patrons of the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers.  The group was recently verified as a Net Zero Carbon business by NQA using the PAS2060 methodology.
