We’ve joined forces with a leading charity to help give something back to the NHS after being inspired by their amazing efforts to keep us safe. Throughout the coronavirus pandemic, our team has been working tirelessly to ensure a consistent and high-volume flow of medical workwear has reached the frontline.

This has meant that we’ve been privileged to see the excellent work taking place by health professionals up and down the country. We’ve felt really strongly for a while now that we wanted to do something to show our gratitude, so our team got to work, and we are delighted with the results! Our brand new charitable ‘Healthcare Heroes’ uniform bag is now available to buy with 100% of the profits made being donated to back into the NHS via our hometown Leicester Hospitals Charity.

The drawstring bags, with an exclusive design by our talented team, are intended to help keyworkers minimise infection control when they finish their shift, so they can quickly, easily and safely put in their dirty uniform at the end of the day to take home and wash, along with the bag. The 100% cotton bags, priced at £4.95 exc VAT, are 28 x 43 cm and can easily fit a pair of scrubs inside. Available in two colours grey or navy, both with our unique design printed on the front.

As these are 100% cotton, some may be concerned about washing at high temperatures, and whilst the bag label may recommend hand wash only we have tested them on various washing cycles up to 60C, so have the following key recommendations to help preserve longevity of your bag and ensuring sufficient infection control: • Remove your workwear from the bag before washing all items. • NHS guidelines state that effective infection control is possible on a lower temp with the use of a laundry cleanser so we suggest you wash up to 40C but with the addition of an antibacterial laundry cleanser (our recommendation would be Dettol Laundry Cleanser) • Do not tumble dry your bag • Once dry, iron inside out to keep your bag looking pristine. Follow these pointers and you’ll preserve the life of your bag. So, all that’s left to do is spread the word about the bag and encourage as many people as possible to buy them from our website.

Perhaps you work in the NHS and want a bag for yourself or it could be a gift for a loved one who works in the healthcare sector? We want raise as much money as possible for the health service here in our hometown and we hope you will help us to support the NHS and say thank you to all our healthcare heroes.
