Coolant Cutting Fluids from JRA Bennett

07 January 2022

Coolant Cutting Fluid is a key factor in the metal cutting process. Leicestershire’s JRA Bennett Ltd can supply coolant for a whole of industries to including Aerospace, Automotive, general machining, Mould and Tool & Die manufacture.

Depending on the material to be machined, the appropriate coolant can be supplied taking into account the type of machining process for example grinding, milling and turning.

When recommending a coolant we usually start with the main ingredient which is water. Water can vary from area to area in the Country and so it should be de- mineralised, or other water could  be recommended as the best method of care to provide a long life for the coolant.

The reason to change supplier is to make a cost saving over a period of time and we look forward to hearing from you.

The coolant can be oil based, synthetic or semi synthetic. For many applications, accreditation can be supplied for industries such as Aerospace with approval from the major manufactures.

In the United Kingdom there is a laboratory where various tests are made to include evaluating coolant from the end user, checking the water before coolant is mixed from concentrate. The coolant concentrate can be supplied in variety of container sizes from 20 litres to 1000litres at a time. Water can be supplied in 1000 litre containers for initial filling of large filtration systems. For top-up, we can supply water softeners and de-mineralisation equipment.
