Plastic not your bag?....

The majority of mailing bags are still manufactured from plastic although here at Poly Postal Packaging we go out of our way to limit the effect on our precious environment.
Many of our mailers have significant recycled content and are either recyclable onwards or bio-degradable.
We do, however have a growing range of products that are made from card and paper - no plastic used in their manufacture - at all!
Some of the advantages of using paper and card based packaging include:
• More biodegradable than many other materials
• Easy to recycle
• Bio based
• Better for the environment
• Reusable
• Versatile
• Positive public perception
Paper is biodegradable because is made from plant materials and most plant materials are biodegradable.
Paper is easily recycled and can be recycled up 6 or 7 times before the paper fibres become too short to be used for paper production.
