At our office premises we had an issue with the front door, I called on the Friday morning - an appointment was made for the following Monday, but then I received a call to say that Colin could attend on the Friday afternoon as he was in the area, to save me waiting until Monday. He arrived and dealt with the issue without any problems in record time. I would recommend Cambs Lock and Safe every time.
A new window handle was fitted efficiently and well. The fitter was very pleasant and did a good job.. However, the price seemed rather high for a quick job and inexpensive part.
I cannot speak more highly of this company, and would highly recommend them. Chris was faced with a rather difficult and awkward problem but through sheer patience and determination he fixed my lock safely and securely. He was courteous, kind and professional in all respects.

Excellent service from start to finish, really good communication skills and all at a reasonable cost. Mr Pool took his time to talk me through my options and even called after the job was complete to make sure everything was perfect.
Used them before for my personal home and they did an excellent job. This time I had to get a new keypad lock fitted for the stockroom at work. Had great service, really reactive in coming out and getting it sorted quickly and all for a fair price.

Gave them a call after hours making things worse trying to reverse the damage caused by my own botched DIY to our uPVC door. Rather than dig a deeper hole, I thought it'd be sensible to get a professional involved.Chris came along later that day, and promptly fixed my damage to the 5-lever lock, got the cylinder working again, and adjusted the hinges so the door closed properly again (it just glides now!)Reasonable price too. Highly recommended.
I recently had Cambs Lock & Safe Ltd replace the spring in a Victorian door lock. This was done very quickly and at a very fair price. Being inquisitive I then tried opening the lock to see how the repair had been undertaken, when (of course) the whole lock exploded in my face!! Rather shame-facedly I returned the next day to ask if the young man could rebuild the lock mechanism for me again. He did this with great patience and good humour and without charge. What excellent service!
Recently had locks changed for a house and service was excellent. Very courteous and helpful as well as professional and reasonable price (I forget the name of the person but he was super patient with me). Also good communication and punctual. Recommend.
Fantastic company. Used several times for being locked out. And a burglary. This time completely front door dropped - completely jammed - weather, and lock/key not functioning.Came quickly in lead up to Xmas hols and freed door and lock function. Just incredibly grateful.

After 20 years the handles on my BAC windows were failing one by one. BAC could not help me because of the age of the installation. I engaged Cambs Lock and Safe to repair Nine mechanisms. I was impressed by their engineer’s diagnostic and repair skills. Job done in 2 hours. House secure again!
