Shouldn't even be 1 star. Badly let down by this company. Tried to help a friend who needed a gas hob fitted so got involved with Essex plumbing and heating. What a mistake!!! Originally booked for a Thursday afternoon. No one turned up. Phoned company on Friday to receive response by text 'on other line how can we help'. Text exchange saying no one had turned up to receive excuse that fitter was sick and they had left a voice message...(no they hadn't). Made another appointment for Saturday morning, 8.00am explaining that friends were visiting on Sunday so this really needed to be done. By 9.00 on Saturday no one had arrived. Phoned company but got voice mail. Tried this a couple of times with same outcome. I then used a phone with a different number and this was answered!!! Was told that fitter was definitely on way and should arrive by 9.30am. By 11.15 I had made more than a dozen calls from both the numbers now 'known' by this company. None were answered and no messages I left were responded to. It's now Sunday night and the fitter who was 'definitely on his way' is still awaited!!!
Had their contact on Nextdoor website. Arranged the filter installation, nobody arrived. An hour later called the office, told they will call me in 10 minutes. An hour later sent a message via facebook asking them to call me, they replied "will do". That was last I heard from them and now I am happy they didn't do more harm really!
